Making a stop at the Grove of Anaheim on Friday, June 5, the Unite the Mic Tour features two of hiphop’s legendary emcees, B-Real of Cypress Hill and Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

Debuting with Cypress Hill in 1991, B-Real became a hip hop legend with his distinctive voice and along with Cypress Hill members Sen Dog and DJ Muggs, were the first Latino hip-hop stars, ushering in a richly varied subgenre of hip-hop that continues to thrive. Their self-titled debut album became one of the first commercially successful gangster rap albums with a Latino twist. B-Real started his solo career in 2006 releasing three reggaeton-influenced mixtapes called The Gunslinger. His debut solo album Smoke and Mirrors dropped this February and features appearances by hip-hop heavyweights Snoop Dogg, Too Short and reggae’s Damien Marley.

Bizzy Bone started in the hip-hop game as a founding member of the Grammy winning group, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Their trademark double and triple-time sung/rapped harmonies brought something unique to the rap game. As a solo performer, Bizzy Bone is well known for his high-speed rhyme style and unique singing abilities. His work has been recognized by several organizations as Bizzy Bone has been the recipient of an ASCAP Award, the Michael Jackson Soul Train Award and an American Music Award.
