Salt Creek Beach

A fun beach with a large park for both surf and grass picnic.

I really like this beach. I've been to Newport, Laguna, Crystal Cove, etc. and they're all really crowded or really expensive to park. This is a nice beach that has free parking and paid (if you have to), and the beach is huge!!! Lots of space to spread out so you're not lying on half of the towel of the guy next to you. Fun to watch the surfers, but still family oriented with the waves breaking far enough off shore so the little kids can get their feet wet. Only down side right now is the construction going on, but if you go on weekends or in the afternoon, the workers are gone and its just the equipment left. I don't know what they're building so I suggest going to this beach before they put in condos or apartments or a mall! GREAT BEACH!

Great beach with lots of space, which is good for summer when lots of the other beaches are so crowded. Great place to bring a body board to. When I went to this beach I went parked on Selva which is just off the PCH, there is street parking there and a parking lot of beach goers. There was also a bathroom at the top.
