Pho Hien Vuong

We are from LA and heard about OC having the best Pho and wanted to try it out.  We found this resourceful website and read the reviews about this award winning restaurant.  We are so glad we made the trip from LA to see the very first Vietnamese Pho restaurant.  It was not what we had envision, but to our surprise the food and service made up for everything.  We will bring our friends back next time.  We highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try Vietnamese Pho.  The owners of the restaurant were so friendly and so delightful to talk with.  The lady is very beautiful and her husband was helping her the entire time.

We ordered the egg rolls as appetizers and decided to order a second serving since it was so delicious. We've had Chinese egg rolls before but it was nothing like these, the Vietnamese egg rolls are filled with so many delicious ingredients. We are going to try the egg roll noodle with bbq beef the next time. We heard about Orange County's first Pho restaurant and wanted to stop by to see how the pho is in comparison to the pho back home in Australia. I have to admit, it was good sweeter than how the pho is made back home. MPCOC

My family loves the food and friendly service here. We hope that they will have a menu in spanish and pictures of the dishes to chose from. We want to try different dishes but not sure what it is. We never go wrong with the pho and rice dishes and egg rolls.

My girlfriends and I went there for dinner wanting to try their so much talked about Pho in the Hispanic community. It was our first experience and we were so delighted since every spoon full of their delicious soup was so delightful. We also loved their Vietnamese ice coffee a great way to finish before heading out to the nightclubs.

This was the best Pho in Santa Ana and Orange County I've ever tasted.

I use to come here when it originally opened and have moved away from OC for over 10 years and it's the first Pho I went to have after moving back. I was so happy to find that Pho Hien Vuong was still around. Although the decor has changed, the Pho was still very good just as I remembered it. I've noticed there's a lot of different nationality there now a much welcome scene to see as our Vietnames pho is now ever becoming well known amongst other nationalities. I hope that they will produce a menu with pictures to help everyone see what they are ordering. Pho Hien Vuong offers so many dishes that most foreigners would not know what to order and be missing out.

We went there for lunch and the wait was at least 15 minutes but after having their egg rolls vermicelli, it was worth the wait. The service was very friendly. We will definitely come back.

This was the best pho in Santa Ana I ever tasted. I had the rare beef pho, it was so fresh and out of this world.

It's my first trip to Orange County, California and my friends took me to the very First Vietnamese Pho Restaurant to ever open in the US and it was the BEST PHO I have ever tasted in my life since living in Europe.

I'm so glad that I found this restaurant near my house and place of work. I hope that a menu will be available online so that I can order in advance and for take out. The Pho was delicious, my co-workers and I had a wonderful experience speaking with the owner, a beautiful young Vietnamese Lady.

I've been coming to Pho Hien Vuong in Santa Ana since 1992 when I was introduce to Vietnamese food for the very first time. From that day I've tried so many other pho in Orange County but keep coming back to the first place I feel in love with Pho. Now under new management, the Pho is even better and the new owners are very nice and courteous to all cultures. They even have a Hispanic waiter that can translate and tell us all of the authentic Vietnamese food in a language that I can understand. My family and I will continue to come back and enjoy the delicious foods as their menus are growing.

Pho Isnt Just Hot in Little Saigon Three or four times a week, I stop by the small Santa Ana restaurant for his favorite meal. Before I can sit down, the waitress beckons me: “The usual, Miguel?” The usual for me is a steaming bowl of Vietnamese pho (pronounced “fuh”), a simple soup filled with rice noodles swimming in a transparent, flavorful broth. I was introduced to it a few years ago and now I am addicted. Nothing beats it. Its better than my moms posole, slurping the silky noodles from the spoon. The first to open in Orange County in 1980, it's still my favorite shop, Santa Anas Pho Hien Vuong, represents how cross-cultural and mainstream pho has become. I marvel at the many judges and lawyers from the nearby courthouse who regularly lunch at his eatery, which has a predominately Hispanic clientele.

My family and I went there for dinner and ordered the fried rice dishes with beef, then some authentic Vietnamese dessert and drinks. The flavored fried rice was so good that we ordered second to go for tomorrow. We specifically enjoyed the Spanish speaking staff that spoke to us in Spanish in a Vietnamese restaurant as though they were catering to our needs. We will tell our family and friends about this nice cozy restaurant in the middle to Santa Ana.

My friends and I stopped by for lunch and ordered the spring rolls for appetizer, then Pho and some Vietnamese Ice Coffee. Everything was delicious and the staffs were so nice in catering to our needs. We had such a great experience for lunch there that we intend on bringing our family back for dinner. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Pho.
