Description:

We are the Orange County California Chapter of the national office of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) organization whose mission is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking. MADD was founded in California in 1980. We serve the Orange County California communities through a variety of services and programs. MADD is not a crusade against alcohol consumption. The focus of MADD is to look for effective solutions to impaired driving and underage drinking, to provide support services to individuals, families and friends whose lives have been impacted by impaired drivers. We accomplish this through the use of a wide variety of educational programs and by offering victim services. MADD is a non-profit 501(c)(3) grassroots organization with more than 600 chapters nationwide. We are not all mothers, and we are not all victims. We are grandparents, fathers, brothers, sisters, children, relatives and friends. We are men and women, young and old.
