K1 Speed also has a 5th location in the Seattle area at Redmond. Our facilities are co-owned by Boris Said (former BMW PTG racing star and current NASCAR racer and team owner of Sobe No Fear). Best of all, you have the opportunity to drive a new generation of state-of-the-art high-torque zero-emission Electric Pro Karts that put the old-style sluggish gas-powered karts to shame. These new high-tech karts, combined with the large K1 asphalt road-race style track, are designed to give you the experience and feel of a real formula race-car driver.

They by far are not the leaders in karting nor are they the largest in So Cal. They are lacking in style and good maintained karts. Pole Position Raceway has the same state-of-the-art high-torque zero-emission Electric Pro Kart. K1 advertises like they are special, but reality is they are not. The major differences between the 2 facilities is Pole Position Raceway has more experienced mechanics so the karts are more reliable, Pole Position offers a blasted concrete track for better power sliding so it feels like real racing. Pole Position has very friendly employees, they put customer service high on their list of Priorities. And to compare racers... Pole Position has Kurt Busch, Jeremy McGrath, Chad Reed, Sam Schemidt, Jamie Little, Kenny Bertram, Greg Albertyn, Trevor Vines, and many many more. Check out PolePositionRaceway.com.
