The Barclay’s annual New World Flamenco Festival is made possible in part by grants and by the generous support of donors whose tax-deductible contributions have become increasingly important. Considered one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century, the tomb complex of China's First Emperor, Shi Huangdi, features thousands of terra cotta warriors that were intended to protect him throughout eternity. Since their discovery, the terra cotta army has been termed the Eighth Wonder of the Ancient World.

The New World Flamenco Festival will present a world premiere of a production which celebrates flamenco’s treasured traditions of improvisation through the interplay of a large ensemble of top-tier artists, considered Spain’s top dancers, musicians and singers. Yaelisa, the Festival’s artistic director, has created this program in response to the enthusiastic feedback for the Festival’s prior presentations of these artists, including Andres Peña, Maria José Franco and Juan Ogalla.

Each night during the summer season at 8:30 the Festival of Arts presents its most famous attraction, the Pageant of the Masters.
What is it?
Ninety minutes of "living pictures" - incredibly faithful art re-creations of classical and contemporary works with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in the original pieces. An outdoor amphitheater, professional orchestra, original score, live narration, intricate sets, sophisticated lighting, expert staff, and hundreds of dedicated volunteers have won recognition for the Pageant as the best presentation of its kind.
